Description
Richard James ‘ Fall ’17 collection is inspired by Mr Norman Wilkinson’s ‘Dazzle Paintings’, a form of marine camouflage used during wartime. Rather than conceal, the intention was to draw attention and confuse with pattern, and a checked suit jacket is one way to get yourself noticed. Cut slim from checked wool in a classic English silhouette, this ‘Hyde’ style has a double vent, notch lapels and flap pockets and is fully lined in smooth satin. Pair it with the matching trousers and loafers to complete a dapper look. Shown here with Canali shirt, Edward Green shoes, Kingsman tie, Paul Smith pocket square.
