For all the different style avenues YSL has explored over the years, an echo of the brand’s founder Mr Yves Saint Laurent remains – in particular his love of denim. « I have often said that I wish I had invented blue jeans, » the designer once mused. Made in Japan, this pair is cut slim and lightly faded and distressed. Look out for the label’s lettering that’s stitched above the left front pocket.
